Anna Netrebko is set to make her Theater Bonn debut.

The soprano is set to perform two productions in November and January.

First she will sing Abigaille in Verdi’s “Nabucco” on Nov. 6, 2026 and then on Jan. 10, 2027, she will sing Mimì in Puccini’s “La Boheme.”

Her debut comes as part of the “World Stars in Bonn” series and Netrebko will be joined by British-Italian tenor Freddie De Tommaso in “La Boheme” singing Rodolfo.

Netrebko has become well-known for her interpretation of Abigaille singing it at the Teatro alla Scala, Berlin State Opera, and Arena di Verona while her Mimì has been performed  at the Teatro alla Scala, Metropolitan Opera, Royal Opera House, and Wiener Staatsoper, among others.

This season, Netrebko opened the Grane Teatre del Liceu’s season and is set to make her role debut as Judith in “Bartok’s “Bluebeard’s Castle.” She is also set to reprise “La Gioconda” in London and Madrid and Amelia in “un Ballo in Maschera” in Vienna among others.
