Anna Netrebko, Jonas Kaufmann, Maria José Siri, Pretty Yende, Vittorio Grigòlo & Aigul Akhmetshina Lead Arena di Verona’s 2024 Season

The season will open with Puccini’s “Turandot” in Franco Zeffirelli’s production. Ekaterina Semenchuk, Yeajin Jeon, Anna Pirozzi, and Olga Maslova sing the title role alongside Piero Giuliacci, Yusif Eyvazov, Angelo Villari, Gregory Kunde, Riccardo Fassi, Mariangela Sicilia, Maria Agresta, and Daria Rybak. Michele Spotti conducts.
Performance Dates: June 8-29, 2024
Verdi’s “Aida“ will be revived in Stefano Poda’s production. The production will star Riccardo Fassi, Giorgi Manoshvili, Marko Mimica, Simon Lim, Clémentine Margaine, Agnieszka Rehlis, Ekaterina Semenchuk, Marta Torbidoni, Maria José Siri, Elena Stikhina, Gregory Kunde, Angelo Villari, Yusif Eyvazov, Alexander Vinogradov, Rafał Siwek, Igor Golovatenko, Amartuvshin Enkhbat, Youngjun Park, and Ludovic Tézier. Marco Armiliato, Alvise Casellati, and Daniel Oren conduct.

Rossini’s “Il Barbiere di Siviglia” will be revived in Hugo de Ana’s staging. George Petrou conducts the production with casts that includes René Barbera, Dmitry Korchak, Lawrence Brownlee, Paolo Bordogna, Misha Kiria, Carlo Lepore, Vasilisa Berzhanskaya, Jessica Pratt, Mattia Olivieri, Nicola Alaimo, Davide Luciano, Roberto Tagliavini, and Alexander Vinogradov.
Performance Dates: June 21- Sept. 6, 2024
Bizet’s “Carmen” will be performed in Franco Zeffirelli’s production. Aigul Akhmetshina, Clémentine Margaine, and Alisa Kolosova sing the title role. They will be joined by Kristina Mkhitaryan, Daria Rybak, Aleksandra Kurzak, Pretty Yende, Mariangela Sicilia, Francesco Meli, Freddie De Tommaso, Roberto Alagna, Erwin Schrott, Luca Micheletti, Ludovic Tézier, and Dalibor Jenis. Leonardo Sini and Daniel Oren conduct.
Performance Dates: July 5- Sept. 7, 2024
Puccini’s “La Bohème” will be performed in a special presentation. Daniel Oren conducts a production by Alfonso Signorini. The cast includes Juliana Grigoryan, Eleonora Bellocci, Vittorio Grigòlo, Luca Micheletti, Fabio Previati, and Alexander Vinogradov.

Anna Netrebko stars in Puccini’s “Tosca“ in Hugo de Ana’s production. She will be joined by Luca Salsi as Scarpia and Yusif Eyvazov as Cavaradossi. Jonas Kaufmann, Elena Stikhina, and Ludovic Tézier sing the final performance of the run.

Ludwig van Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9 will be performed. Andrea Battistoni conducts soloists Erin Morley, Anna Maria Chiuri, Ivan Magrì, and Alexander Vinogradov.

The cast will include Simon Lim, Maharram Huseynov, Giorgi Manoshvili, Ekaterina Semenchuk, Maria José Siri, Elena Stikhina, Anna Pirozzi, Piotr Beczała, Ivan Magrì, Gregory Kunde, Alexander Vinogradov, Luca Salsi, Youngjun Park, and Ludovic Tézier. Daniel Oren conducts.
