Anna Netrebko is hinting at future collaborations with Luca Salsi.

In a recent Instagram post following a performance of “Macbeth” at the Teatro alla Scala with Luca Salsi, the soprano said, “Grazie Luca, my wonderful partner. Looking forward for our new projects together.”  In hashtags the soprano listed, “La Traviata,” “Don Carlo” “Nabucco,” and “Falstaff.”

Netrebko and Salsi are confirmed to perform in “La Traviata” at the Arena di Verona in September and in “Don Carlo” at the Teatro alla Scala in December. Additionally, they are set to perform “La Gioconda” in Salzburg and “Macbeth” in Berlin.

However, productions of “Nabucco” and “Falstaff” have yet to be announced. Netrebko made her role debut as “Abigaille” in May in Wiesbaden and the Russian soprano suggested she would sing in future productions. As for Falstaff, the soprano suggested she was interested in the opera in May 2022 in an interview with Le Monde.

Netrebko and Salsi have collaborated on multiple productions including “Aida,” “Tosca,” “Andrea Chenier,” “Il Trovatore,” and “Macbeth.”
