Anja Harteros is out of the Bayerische Staatsoper‘s production of “Tristan und Isolde.”

The company said that she will be replaced for the April performances by Elena Pankratova. For the July shows, Anja Kampe will replace Harteros.

This isn’t the first of Harteros’ cancelations at Bayerische this past year. Harteros had canceled her July 19, 2022 recital performance.

Harteros’ next scheduled appearance will be on April 26 and 27, when the soprano will perform two concerts with Münchner Philharmoniker featuring music by Wagner, Strauss, and Bartók

Pankratova is slated to sing the title role in two performances of “Turandot” at Deutsche Oper am Rhein, on Apr. 7-8.

Anja Kampe is currently performing at the Wiener Staatsoper in “Fidelio”as Leonore through Mar. 4, before moving on to the Royal Opera House for a run as Marie in “Wozzeck” from May 19 to Jun 7.
