Angela Meade, Maria Josè Siri & Amartuvshin Enkhbat Lead the Teatro Carlo Felice’s 2022 Season

The season opens with a double bill of Pergolesi’s “La serva padrona” and Bernstein’s “Trouble in Tahiti” in a production by Luca Micheletti. Pergolesi’s opera is set to star Luca Micheletti, Elisa Balbo, and Giorgio Bongiovanni while Bernstein’s will star Luca Micheletti, Elisa Balbo, Melania Maggiore, Manuel Pierattelli, and Andrea Porta.
Performance Dates: Jan. 28-Feb. 8, 2022
Donizetti’s “Anna Bolena” will be conducted by Sesto Quatrini and directed by Alfonso Antoniozzi. Angela Meade and Desirée Rancatore star in the title role alongside Nicola Ulivieri, Alessio Cacciamani, Sonia Ganassi, Paola Gardina, John Osborn, Giorgio Misseri, Marina Comparato, and Sofia Koberidze.
Performance Dates: Feb. 18-27, 2022
Maria Josè Siri and Monica Zanettin star in the title role of Puccini’s “Manon Lescaut.” The work will be directed by Davide Livermore and conudcted by Donato Renzetti and will also star Marcelo Álvarez, Riccardo Massi, Francesco Pio Galasso, Stefano Antonucci, Enrico Marabelli, and Matteo Peirone.
Performance Dates: March 25-April 3, 2022
Verdi’s “Rigoletto” is set to be conducted by Jordi Bernàcer and star Amartuvshin Enkhbat, Ivan Inverardi, Enkeleda Kamani, Lucrezia Drei, Giovanni Sala, Matteo Falcier, Giorgio Giuseppini, Mariano Buccino, Caterina Piva, and Valeria Girardello.
Performance Dates: May 13-22, 2022
Rossini’s “Il Turco in Italia” will star solisti dell’accademia from Fondazione Teatro Carlo Felice. The production will be conducted by Christopher Franklin and directed by Italo Nunziata.
