The Metropolitan Opera has announced its 2024 Live in HD Summer Encores.

First up is “La Bohème” starring Sonya Yoncheva, Michael Fabiano, Susanna Phillips, Lucas Meachem, Matthew Rose, and Alexey Lavrov. Marco Armiliato conducted the 2018 transmission.

Screening Date: July 24, 2024

Then comes the 2014 production of “La Cenerentola” starring Joyce DiDonato and Juan Diego Flórez. Fabio Luisi conducted the cast, which also featured Luca Pisaroni, Alessandro Corbelli, and Pietro Spagnoli.

Screening Date: July 31, 2024

The Met will feature the 2016 performance of “Turandot” starring Nina Stemme, Marco Berti, Anita Hartig, and Alexander Tsymbalyuk. Paolo Carignani was the conductor.

Screening Date: August 7, 2024

Closing out the series is the 2020 transmission of “Porgy and Bess” starring Eric Owens, Angel Blue, Golda Schultz, Latonia Moore, and Frederick Ballentine, among others. David Robertson conducted.
