Andrei Danilov Named Winner of the International Vocal Competition ‘s-Hertogenbosch

Russian tenor Andrei Danilov was named the winner of the 55th International Vocal Competition ‘s-Hertogenbosch.

Not only was Danilov the Grand Prix City of ‘s-Hertogenbosch winner, but he also received the Opera Prize and the Press Prize, winning a total of € 16,000. Other high-placing winners include mezzo-soprano Bella Adamova who won the Oratorio Prize and soprano Silvia Sequeira who earned the Wagner Prize of the Netherlands.

The finalist performed under the baton of Hartmut Haenchen with the South Netherlands Philharmonic.

The next International Vocal Competition ‘s-Hertogenbosch will be held in Oct. of 2023.
