Andreas Schager, Veronica Simeoni & John Osborn Lead Teatro dell’Opera di Roma’s Streams

The Teatro Digitale by the Teatro dell’Opera di Roma will continue this month with three streams.

On Nov. 24 the company will present Wagner’s “Tristan und Isolde” conducted by Daniele Gatti. The production from 2016-17 stars Andreas Schager (Tristan), Rachel Nicholls (Isolde), John Relyea (Re Marke), Brett Polegato (Kurwenal), and Michelle Breedt (Brangäne).

Streaming Date: Nov. 24, 25 & 26, 2020

The second stream will be Berlioz’ “La damnation de Faust” in a production that opened the 2017-18 season. The production was conducted by Damiano Michieletto and stars Pavel Černoch (Faust), Alex Esposito (Méphistophélès), Veronica Simeoni (Marguerite), and Goran Jurić (Brander).

Streaming Dates: Nov. 27, 28 & 29, 2020

The final stream before opening night of the 2020-21 season will be Verdi’s “Les vêpres siciliennes” also conducted by Daniele Gatti. The production opened the 2019-20 and starred Roberto Frontali (Guy de Montfort), John Osborn (Henri), Michele Pertusi (Jean Procida), and Roberta Mantegna (Hélène).
