Amanda Forsythe & Holger Falk Lead Music Before 1800’s 50th Anniversary Season

Music Before 1800 has released the lineup of its 50th anniversary season.

For the purposes of this article only vocal works are included.

Amanda Forsythe performs in “From Rome with Love” with Pacific MusicWorks. The concert features music by Giacomo Carissimi and Luigi Rossi.

Performance Date: September 22, 2024

There will be a performance of Brahms’ Requiem conducted by Lionel Meunier and featuring Vox Luminis.

Performance Date: Nov. 11 – 25, 2024

The Gesualdo Six and Abendmusik present William Byrd’s “Mass for Five Voices.”

Performance Date: November 9, 2024 (6 & 9 pm)

Sequentia featuring Benjamin Bagby, Jasmina Črnčič, and Lukas Papenfusscline present “Gregorius,” a concert of vocals and Romanesque harps.

Performance Date: January 12, 2024 

Baritone Holger Falk and Nuovo Aspetto perform music by André Campra, Johann Simon Mayr, Giuseppe Tartini, and Antonio Vivaldi.

Performance Date: February 9, 2024 

The Juilliard Community Chorus led by Robert Mealy present “Corelli In Chiquitos: Music From The Missions.”
