New York City Opera’s Bryant Park summer series is set to continue with Tenor Alessandro Lora in Concert on August 19.

Tenor Alessandro Lora will perform a concert of diverse Italian repertoire including folk, popular, and traditional Neapolitan songs alongside operatic favorites. The concert will feature the New York City Opera Orchestra led by two conductors, Maurizio Barbacini and Diego Basso.

The concert will be produced in cooperation with Sandro di Benedetto, Bruno Benetti, and OneArt and will be live streamed for free via Bryant Park’s website and social media platforms.

In a statement, Michale Capasso said, “We are delighted to return as a part Bryant Park Picnic Performances presented by Bank of America for the 8th consecutive year. Our increasingly elaborate productions have drawn thousands of New Yorkers and tourists for free. It is truly ‘The People’s Opera.’”
