The Festival Música en Villafranca 2020 has announced its summer edition.

The festival, which will be held from July 8 through August 22, will hold concerts at the Villafranca del Bierzo in the province of León, Spain.

The edition will include 13 concerts at the San Francisco Church and two at Gil y Carrasco.

Ainhoa Arteta will be among the international stars to perform. The star soprano will dedicate an evening to music by Puccini on August 2 with Pedro Halffter conducting.

Halffter will also perform in several piano recitals, chamber music concerts and will appear alongside such stars as Iagoba Fanlo and Eduardo Frías. The festival will include music by Chopin, Beethoven, Bach, Mahler, Falla, and Turina.
