New Productions
It opens with Verdi’s “Falstaff,” conducted by Daniele Gatti and directed by Damiano Michieletto with a cast starring Nicola Alaimo, Lodovico Ravizza, Yijie Shi, Eleonora Buratto, Rosalia Cid, Marie-Nicole Lemieux, and Nicole Chirka, among others.
Performance Dates: Oct. 5 – Oct. 24, 2025
Next up is Hans Abrahamsen’s “The Snow Queen.” Titus Engel conducts a cast starring Vera-Lotte Boecker, Valerie Eickhoff, Christa Mayer, Georg Zeppenfeld, and Simeon Esper. Immo Karaman directs.
Performance Dates: Dec. 7, 2025 – Jan. 8, 2026
Then comes Leonard Evers’ “Gold!” Annike Debus and Johannes Kilian star. Benedikt Arnold directs.

Poulenc’s “Dialogues des Carmélites” follows in a production by Jetske Mijnssen. Michael Kraus, Marjukka Tepponen, Julien Dran, Evelyn Herlitzius, Sinéad Campbell-Wallace, Julie Boulianne, Rosalia Cid, Michal Doran, and Simeon Esper star.
Performance Dates: Jan. 31 – Feb. 23, 2026
Then comes “Parsifal” with Oleksandr Pushniak, Albert Dohmen, Georg Zeppenfeld, Eric Cutler, and Scott Hendricks. Michèle Losier rounds out the cast as Kundry. Daniele Gatti conducts and Floris Visser directs.

“Carmen” stars Eve-Maud Hubeaux and Caterina Piva. The two are joined by Attilo Glaser, Tomislav Muzek, Tuuli Takala, Marjukka Tepponen, and Krzysztof Baczyk. Lorenzo Passerini conducts and Nadja Loschky directs.
