Soprano Aida Garifullina is set to appear at two concerts taking place at the Dubai Opera.

First up, the Russian diva will appear at the Dubai Opera Ball on Nov. 18, 2023, performing alongside tenor Riccardo Massi, and others. The event will feature the Northern Sinfonia Orchestra under the musical direction of Fabio Mastrangelo.

The next day, on Nov. 19, 2023, the soprano will team up again with Mastrangelo and the Northern Sinfonia Orchestra for a concert, marking her first official solo performance in the United Arab Emirates.

Later in the year, the soprano will appear in a concert presented as part of the Dubai Opera’s 2023-24 season when she takes the stage alongside the Teatro alla Scala Orchestra in the ensemble’s debut with the company. Scheduled for Dec. 1, 2023, “Concert for Tomorrow” will showcase Garifullina in music by Verdi, Puccini, and Mascagni. Michele Gamba conducts.
