L’Opéra de Rouen Normandie will stream Debussy’s “Pelléas et Mélisande” on Jan. 26, 2021 at 8:00 p.m. CET.

The opera stars Huw Montague Rendall as Pelléas, Adèle Charvet in the role of Mélisande, and Nicolas Courjal as Golaud. The cast also includes Jean Teitgen, Lucile Richardot, Anne-Sophie Petit, and Richard Rittelmann.

Pierre Dumoussaud conducts Orchestre de l’Opéra de Rouen Normandie in the production by Éric Ruf. Costumes by Christian Lacroix.

The live stream will be viewable on the official website of L’Opéra de Rouen Normandie, its social media channels, YouTube channel, and La Chaine Normande TV channel. Due to the French government’s COVID-19 regulations, the opera will be performed without an audience.
