
Teatro G. B. Pergolesi di Jesi Announces 2025 Season

Rossini’s “Il Barbiere di Siviglia” gets an adaptation by Nunzia Nigro. Germano Neri directs the production which is part of the “Progetto Scuola in Canto” series.
Performance Dates: May 28-30, 2025
For the “Progetto Opera nei Borghi” series is “La Gare Generose.” Nicole Kenley-Miller directs and Kristin Ditlow conducts. The showcase is in collaboration with the Fondazione Pergolesi Spontini e FIO Italia – Festival of International Opera.
Performance Dates: July 16 & 18, 2025
Kicking off the fall season is “Don Giovanni.” The opera stars Chrisitan Federici, Maria Mudryak, Valerio Borgioni, Louise Guenter, Stefano Marchisio, Gianluca Failla, and Eleonora Boaretto. Arthur Fagen conducts and Paul-Émile Fourney directs.
Performance Dates: Oct. 17 & 19, 2025
Next up is Pergolesi’s “L’Olimpiade” starring Anicio Zorzi Giustiniani, Carlotta Colombo, Silvia Frugato, Josè Maria Lo Monaco, Theodora Rafitis, Matteo Straffi, and Francesca Ascioti. Giulio Prandi conducts a production directed by Fabio Ceresa.
Performance Dates: Nov. 21 & 23, 2025
Then comes Marchettini’s “Il Giudizio di Paride.” Fabio Ceresa directs and Stefano Martinenghi conducts a cast headlined by Laura Stella.
Performance Dates: Nov. 29 & 30, 2025
Elisa Verzier, Giulia Mazzola, Matteo Roma, Daniele Terenzi, and Eugenio di Lieto headline Puccini’s “La Bohème.” Paul-Émile Fourny directs and Jacopo Rivani conducts.
