Ismael Jordi, Celso Albelo, Marcela Rahal, Francesca Sassu & Génesis Moreno Lead Ópera de Oviedo’s 2025-26 Season

Pablo González conducts Humperdinck’s “Hansel und Gretel” in a production by Raúl Vázquez. The cast will include Carles Pachon, Teresa Fuentes, Anna Harvey, Erika Baikoff, Stéphanie Müther, Ana Nebot, and Sofía Gutiérrez-Tobar.
Performance Dates: Sept. 12-20, 2025
Gound’s “Romeo et Juliette” is set to star Génesis Moreno, Annya Pinto, Olga Syniakova, Gabriela Flores, Sandra Pastrana, Ismael Jordi, Mario Bahg, and Carlos Cosías. Audrey Saint-Gil conducts the new production by Giorgia Guerra.
Performance Dates: Oct. 10-18, 2025
Aarón Zapico conducts Vivaldi’s “Orlando Furioso” in a production by Fabio Ceresa. Evelyn Ramírez, Jone Martínez, Shakèd Bar, Maria Zoi, Serena Pérez, Mikel Uskola, and César San Martín.
Performance Dates: Nov. 14-22, 2025
Celso Albelo, Juan Noval-Moro, Ernesto Petti, Gerardo Bullón, Alexandra Nowakowski, Ruth Terán, Roberto Scandiuzzi, Sandra Ferrández, and María Heres star in Verdi’s “Rigoletto.” Óliver Díaz conducts the production by Susana Gómez.
Performance Dates: Dec. 12-20, 2025
Antonio Corianò, Antoni Lliteres, Marcela Rahal, Sandra Ferrández, Damián del Castillo, Jan Antem, Francesca Sassu, and Laura Brasó star in Bizet’s “Carmen.” Rubén Díez conducts the production by Emilio Sagi.
Performance Dates: Jan. 30-Feb. 7, 2026
All the productions will be performed at the Teatro Campoamor.
