Baritone Mark Nathan has joined Steven Swales Artists for general management.

Nathan is a graduate of Birmingham University, the Royal College of Music, and the Alexander Gibson Opera School at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. He is also a former Emerging Artist at Scottish Opera and currently studies with Sylvia Greenberg and David Aronson.

This season, he is set to make his debut with Welsh National Opera as Schaunard “La Bohème” and is set to return as Maximillian in “Candide.” He will also perform the Notary in “Der Rosenkavalier” for Irish National Opera. He is also scheduled for Le Dancaïre in “Carmen” for Waterperry Opera Festival.

Nathan recently performed at the Scottish Opera, Garsington Opera, Welsh National Opera, and the Israeli Opera. His repertory includes the music of Puccini, Mozart, Prokofiev, Strauss, Bizet, and Gounod.
