The entire run of the Malmö Opera production of Verdi’s “Falstaff” will be streamed online.

The production by Lotte de Beer is set to star Misha Kiria, Jacquelyn Wagner, Orhan Yildiz, Alexandra Flood, Sehoon Moon, Maria Streijffert, and Matilda Paulsson. Steven Sloane will conduct.

Dde Beer, newly appointed artistic director at Volksoper Wien, is one of Europe’s most sought-after young opera directors. The new “Falstaff” production includes sets and costume designs by Christof Hetzer and creates a new contemporary version of where human interaction takes place through digital channels.

The Swedish opera house is one of the very first theaters streaming every single performance of a run, which will open on Nov 7. 2020, at 6 pm CET, and will be seen through www.malmoopera.se/falstaff-streaming.
