Sarasota Opera Adds Additional Performance to Fall Slate

Sarasota Opera has added a performance to its fall season.

The organization has added an additional outing of “Live from the Sarasota Opera House” on Nov. 15, 2020 at 1:30 p.m. The concert will feature music by Verdi, Rossini, Wagner, Puccini, and Mozart with such artists as sopranos Hanna Brammer, Anna Mandina, and Caitlin Crabill, tenors Andrew Surrena and Samuel Schlievert, baritone Alexander Boyd, and bass Young Bok Kim. The singers will be accompanied by Jesse Martins and George Hemcher at the piano.

Attendees of the performance will be spaced out throughout the hall. Face masks and temperature checks will be required for all those in attendance.

There will be another performance on Nov. 13, which will be streamed on the company’s official website. The broadcast of the concert will be available for repeat viewings for two additional weeks.
