Pacific Opera Project has announced that it will launch an interactive watch party for its production of “The Magic Flute.” The party kicks off at 5 p.m. PST on Wednesday, May 13, 2020 via the company’s Facebook and YouTube channels.

The popular iteration is rife with references to video games, particularly “Super Mario Bros.” and “The Legend of Zelda.” The watch party will enable audiences to interact with Pacific Opera Project’s cast and crew for the production as well as engage in costume contests, drink receipts, and other activities.

The production stars Arnold Livingston Geis as Tamino, Alexandra Schoeny as Pamina, E. Scott Levin as Papageno, Michelle Drever as the Queen of the Night, and Andrew Potter as Sarastro.
