Opera Australia will present a free pop-up concert at Emporium Melbourne on Nov. 10 in anticipation of its new production of “La Bohème.”

The showcase, set to kick off at 1 p.m., will take place at the Lonsdale Street entrance and will feature highlights from the production with soprano Valeria Sepe, soprano Jane Ede, tenor Iain Henderson and bass David Parkin performing.

Moreover, attendees at the concert will be eligible for discounted tickets to the production. The offer includes a limited number of A, B and C Reserve seats for weekday performances at the Regent Theatre. The tickets are available only in person on the day of the concert, with a limit of two per person.

Directed by Constantine Costi, the new production of “La Bohème” is set to run from Nov. 7-18. This is the company’s first new production of the famed Puccini opera in 15 years. The company is also running a promotion for operagoers under 35.
