
Marianna Hovanisyan Joins Intermusica for Worldwide General Management
By Francisco SalazarArmenian soprano Marianna Hovanisyan has joined the Vocal & Opera roster of Intermusica for worldwide general management.
Hovanisyan is an alumna of Jette Parker Artists’ Programme at the Royal Ballet & Opera, Covent Garden and this season, she returns to the Royal Ballet & Opera as Pamina in Sir David McVicar’s production of Mozart’s “Die Zauberflöte,” and is a Blümenmädchen in Evgeny Titov’s new production of Wagner’s “Parsifal.”
Hovanisyan has received the Audience Prize, Eva Kleinitz Award and The Beckwith Foundation Award at the CLIP Portofino International Singing Competition in 2023, and is also the 2020 recipient of the Presidential Prize for Young Opera Singers in Armenia and the first prize at the 2019 Gohar Gasparyan National Singing Competition.
Future projects include participation in Operalia in Shanghai and debuts with the Berliner Philharmoniker and the Osterfestspiele Salzburg.
