Amina Edris & Pene Pati Lead San Francisco Opera’s ‘Manon’ Revival

San Francisco Opera is set to preset Massent’s “Manon.’

The opera will open on Oct. 15 and will be conducted by Caroline H. Hume Music Director Eun Sun Kim. Vincent Boussard’s 2017 production will be revived.

Soprano Amina Edris will sing the title role alongside tenor Pene Pati as Des Greiux.

They will be joined by Vitor Bispo as Lescaut, Stephen Gaertner as De Brétigny, James Creswell as Comte des Grieux, Stephen Cole asGuillot de Morfontaine, Olivier Zerouali as the Innkeeper, Sofia Gotch (Poussette), Laura Krumm (Javotte) and Taylor Raven (Rosette).

Manon runs through Nov. 1 2026 and will be live-streamed on Oct. 21 performance and  available to watch on demand for 48 hours beginning.
