Elisabeth Teige has joined the roster of Askonas Holt for worldwide general management.

The Norwegian soprano is a regular fixture on the world’s greatest stages, including the Bayreuth Festival where she performed Senta in Dmitri Tcherniakov’s production of “Der fliegende Holländer.”

She has also performed at the Deutsche Oper Berlin, Teatro Real, Gran Teatre del Liceu, Bayeriche Staatsoper, and Oper Leipzig. Her repertoire includes Wagner’s “Die Walkure,” and “Tristan und Isolde,” and Strauss’ “Elektra.”

This upcoming season, Teige make her anticipated debut singing the title role in “Elektra” at the Norwegian National Opera alongside Karen Cargill as Klytaemnestra. She also returns to the role of Senta for her debut at Dutch National Opera, and sings Elisabeth in “Tannhäuser” at the Bayerische Staatsoper.
