Shawn Roth Joins Askonas Holt for Management

Roth will be managed at Askonas Holt by Joel Thomas and Mathieu Levan.
The tenor is a winner of the Marilyn Horne Song Competition, and a two-time district winner of the Metropolitan Opera Laffont Competition. He is a recent graduate of the Butler Studio at Houston Grand Opera, where his roles over the past two seasons have included Il venditore in “Il tabarro,” Curley in “Of Mice and Men” and Heinrich in “Tannhäuser.”
He has also performed at the Bard Summerscape Festival and the Wagner Society of New York.
Next season Roth will perform in Munich.
