On July 10, the Teatro Real de Madrid is set to stream a performance of “Il Trovatore” on My Opera Player.

The cast will include Marina Rebeka, Piotr Beczala, Artur Ruciński, and Ksenia Dudnikova. Nicola Luisotti conducts the production by Francisco Negrín. 

The stream is part of the Teatro Real’s opera week which will also see the company broadcast past recordings at the Plaza de Isabel II including “Romeo et Juliette” from earlier this season.

“Il Trovatore’s” production, which is being revived from a 2019 production by Negrín, opened on June 29 and runs through July 20. The opera is being presented with multiple casts that also include star singers such as Saioa Hernández, Eleonora Buratto, and Anita Rachvelishvili.
