
Emily Sierra & Granit Musliu Win Bavarian Art Promotion Prize
By Francisco SalazarThe Ministry of Science and the Arts has announced the Bavarian Art Promotion Prize.
Among the winners of this year’s prizes included Bayerische Staatsoper ensemble members and former Opernstudio members, Emily Sierra and Granit Musliu who were awarded the prizes in the performing arts category.
Musliu has been a member of the Bayerische Staatsoper ensemble since the season 2023-24 and this season he will sing in a production of “Rigoletto.” Meanwhile, Sierra has also been a member of our ensemble since the season 2023-24 and this season she will sing the role of Siebel in “Faust.”
The Bavarian Art Promotion Prize is given annually by the free state of Bavaria that supports emerging artists in music, visual arts, performing arts and literature. The prize, which recognizes outstanding achievements, is awarded to individuals or ensembles and comes with a cash prize.
