Emily Sierra Signs with Askonas Holt

Emily Sierra has signed on with Askonas Holt for worldwide management.

The Cuban-American mezzo is currently an ensemble member of the Bayerische Staatsoper, where she graduated from the Opera Studio. This season in Munich she is performing Idamante in “Idomeneo,” Tisbe in “La Cenerentola,” Clotilde in “Norma,” La Ciesca in “Gianni Schicchi,” Dritte Magd in “Elektra,” and Fyodor in “Boris Godunov.”

Outside of the German house she is set to make her U.S. mainstage debut as Stéphano in “Roméo et Juliette” at Dallas Opera as well as her debut with the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of Edward Gardner singing Zweite Magd in “Elektra.”

She will be managed at Askonas Holt by Angelica Conner and Matt Palmer.
