By Francisco Salazar

Theatre des Champs-Elysées has anounced a cast change for the final performance of “La Damnation de Faust” on Nov. 15, 2025.

The company said that “Benjamin Bernheim has been forced to forgo his participation in the last performance due to illness. We wish him a speedy recovery.”

As a result, Czech tenor Petr Nekoranec will once again sing the role of Faust.

Nekoranec performed the Nov. 12, also replacing Bernheim.

The Czech tenor has performed with the LA Philharmonic, Prague National Theatre, Staatsoper Stuttgart, and Festival Aix-en-Provence.

The tenor is set to join a cast that includes Christian Van Horn, Victoria Karkacheva, and Thomas Dolié. Jakob Lehmann conducts the production by Silvia Costa.
