The Royal Opera has announced that British actor Jake Dunn will make his West End debut in the lead role of Blake in the company’s “Last Days.”

Dunn, an alumnus of the Guildhall School of Music & Drama, has appeared in a range of film and television projects for Disney+, the BBC, and Netflix. Among his major portrayals are Thomas Blancheford in the Disney+ series “Renegade Nell” and BBC’s “What It Feels Like for a Girl.” He also appeared on the feature film “William Tell.”

“Last Days” made its premiere in 2022 and is based on Gus Van Sant’s 2005 film. The work is composed by Oliver Leith and features a libretto by Matt Copson. Matt Copson and Anna Morrissey co-direct and Jack Sheen and Naomi Woo conduct.

The opera opens on Dec. 5, 2025 and runs through Jan. 3, 2026.
