
Arizona Opera Announces New Director of Artistic Operations
By Francisco SalazarThe Arizona Opera has announced David Margulis as its new Director of Artistic Operations.
Margulis is a passionate lover of the art form and a gifted singer who has performed on many international and domestic stages, including Opernhaus Zürich, Opera Nationale de Lorraine, Wolf Trap Opera, Opera Theatre St. Louis, and Santa Fe Opera.
He is also a former member of Arizona Opera’s Marion Roose Pullin Opera Studio and has become an artistic administrator, serving as Company Manager at the Florida Grand Opera and Rehearsal Coordinator with the Wolf Trap Opera.
In a statement, Margulis noted, “Arizona Opera is the company where I sang my first professional roles, and joining this great team as Director of Artistic Operations feels like coming home. I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to work with our wonderful Arizona Opera guest and Marion Roose Pullin Studio artists and help shape the future of great opera in Arizona and beyond.”
