
The Atlanta Opera Names Chorus Masters for 2025-26 Season

The Atlanta Opera has announced its Chorus Masters for its upcoming season.
The company revealed that Daniel Chervinsky, Lisa Hasson, and Walter Huff will take on the positions of Chorus Masters throughout the 2025 and 2026 season.
Chervinsky will serve as Chorus Master for Verdi’s “La traviata” on Nov. 8 – 16, 2025, while Huff will serve as Chorus Master for”Götterdämmerung” on May 30 – June 7, 2026. Finally, Hasson will serve as Chorus Master for Mozart’s “The Marriage of Figaro” in March 2026 and Puccini’s “Turandot” in April and May 2026.
The decision was made by Principal Conductor Ivan López Reynoso.
“I look forward to seeing Ivan’s artistic vision come to life as he steps into his role as principal conductor. This season gives us the opportunity to collaborate with outstanding chorus masters, both longtime partners and new colleagues, and we are delighted to welcome them into the company,” said Tomer Zvulun, Atlanta Opera’s Carl W. Knobloch, Jr. General & Artistic Director, per an official press release.
