Eleonora Buratto, Jonathan Tetelman, Luca Salsi & Dmitry Korchak Lead Teatro dell’Opera di Roma’s Rai Cultura Broadcast
By Francisco SalazarThe Teatro dell’Opera di Roma is set to team up with Rai Cultura for the 2025-26 season.
The company will present four operas, “Tosca,” “Lohengrin,” “Tancredi,” and “Falstaff.”
“Tosca” will be presented on Nov. 1, 2025, on Rai 3, with Daniel Oren conducting a cast that includes Eleonora Buratto as Tosca, Jonathan Tetelman as Cavaradossi, and Luca Salsi as Scarpia.
On Nov. 27, 2025, Rai 5 will present Wagner’s “Lohengrin” with Michele Mariotti conducting Damiano Michieletto’s production. The cast will include Dmitry Korchak, Clive Bayley, Tómas Tómasson, Ekaterina Gubanova, Andrei Bondarenko, and Jennifer Holloway.
Michele Mariotti conducts Rossini’s “Tancredi” with Carlo Vistoli, Hasmik Torosyan, Enea Scala, and Luca Tittoto. Emma Dante will direct the new production.
Verdi’s “Falstaff” will be conducted by Michele Mariotti and directed by Tatjana Gürbaca. The production will star Luca Salsi, George Petean, Maria Agresta, Ekaterine Buachidze, Violeta Urmana, Marina Monzò, Yijie Shi, Carlo Bosi, Paolo Antognetti, and Gabriele Sagona.
