
Teatro Comunale di Modena Anounces 2025-26 Season

Puccini’s “La bohème” will be performed at the Modena Belcanto Festival.
Performance Dates: Sept. 26 & 28, 2025
Verdi’s “Nabucco” opens the season with Massimo Zanetti conducting and Federico Grazzini directing.
Performance Dates: Oct. 24-26, 2025
Puccini’s “Tosca” will be directed by Luca Orsini and conducted by Stefano Ranzani.
Performance Dates: Nov. 27-30, 2025
“Pinocchio – Storia di un burattino” will be presented by Voci Bianche del Teatro Comunale di Modena and conducted by Paolo Gattolin.
Performance Date: Dec. 14, 2025
Verdi’s “Stiffelio” will be presented in a production by Pier Luigi Pizzi. Leonardo Sini conducts the cast that includes Gregory Kunde, Lidia Fridman, and Vladimir Stoyanov.
Performance Date: Jan. 9 & 11, 2026
Mozart’s “Don Giovanni” will be conducted by Enrico Pagano and directed by Andrea Bernard.
Performance Date: Feb. 6 & 8, 2026
Giuseppe Grazioli conducts Ermanno Wolf-Ferrari’s “I quatro rusteghi” in Aldo Tarabella’s production.
Performance Date: Feb. 20 & 22, 2026
Lully’s “Le carnaval” will be conducted by Federico Maria Sardelli.
Performance Dates: Feb. 27 & March 1, 2026
Rossini’s “L’Italiana in Algeri” will be conducted by Alessandro Cadario and directed by Fabio Cherstich.
Performance Dates: March 6 & 8, 2026
The season ends with Bizet’s “Carmen” featuring Maria Kataeva, Joseph Dahdah, Gianluca Failla, and Jaquelina Livieri. Audrey Saint-Gil conducts the production by Stefano Vizioli
