Rai3 to Present Teatro La Fenice’s ‘Cavalleria Rusticana’ from Piazza San Marco
By Francisco SalazarRai3 is set to broadcast Teatro La Fenice’s “Cavalleria Rusticana” from Piazza San Marco on July 16, 2025.
The production, which will be semistaged in concert form, will be conducted by Rico Saccani and will feature Oksana Dyka as Santuzza, Mikheil Sheshaberidze as Turiddu, Franco Vassallo as Alfio, and Valeria Girardello as Lola.
Annunziata Vestri rounds out the cast as Lucia.
The original performance will be held on July 12, 2025.
A second broadcast of the opera will take place on July 24 on Rai5 on July 24, 2025.
