89 Reade to Feature Drag Sensation & Opera Star Jasmine Rice LaBeija

89 Reade has announced a special upcoming showcase set for Thursday, June 26, 2025.
The event will feature drag sensation and opera singer Jasmine Rice LaBeija alongside pianist Lachlan Glen.
Per LaBeija’s Facebook profile, the drag star is a “Korean-American, Juilliard- trained operatic tenor, drag diva, and proud Godmother of the Royal House of LaBeija, she’s wowed crowds at the Guggenheim to Carnegie Hall.”
The event will take place during Pride weekend.
Glen’s series has featured such performers as Ben Bliss, Megan Picerno, Mercedes Gancedo, Leah Hawkins, Hera Hyesang Park, and Gabriella Reyes, among others.
