Hamburg State Opera 2017-18 Season To Include Angela Gheorghu, Jonas Kaufmann, Kristine Opolais And Olga Peretyatko

The Hamburg State Opera has announced its 2017-18 Season with six new productions and four productions in the opera stabile series. New Productions  The company will first present a new production of Wagner’s “Parsifal” with Achim Freyer directing. Patricia Racette & Stewart Copeland’s ‘The Invention of Morel’ Headline Long Beach Opera’s 2017-18 Season

The Long Beach Opera, the sister Company of the Chicago Opera Theater, has also released its season, coinciding with the 2017-18 unveiling of COT. The theme for the California-based company will open the season with Gian Carlo Menotti’s “The Consul,” which will also open at COT.
