The World Cup is in full swing, but those looking for more opera should turn to OperaVision to see “Les Contes d’Hoffmann” from the Dutch National Opera and Ballet.

The production is headlined by John Osborn with Nina Minasyan, Ermonela Jaho, and Christine Rice as the three heroines. Irene Roberts appears as Nicklausse and Erwin Schrott takes on the four villains. Carlo Rizzi conducts and Tobias Kratzer directs.

The stream kicks off at 7 p.m. local time on June 28, 2018 and will be available for repeat viewings on Opera Vision until Dec. 27, 2018.

The streaming service is free through OperaVision, which, per its official website, is a project “supported by the European Union’s Creative Europe program, OperaVision builds on the success of The Opera Platform, with more contributing opera companies from more countries, under the editorial supervision of Opera Europa, the European association of opera companies and festivals. OperaVision brings together 30 partners from 18 countries and invites you to travel and discover the diversity of opera from wherever you want, whenever you want.”
