Cafe Fiorello To Honor Plácido Domingo

Plácido Domingo will be honored at Cafe Fiorello.
In celebration of the tenor’s 50 Years at the Metropolitan Opera, the New York City Restaruant will be honored with a star-studded reception across from Lincoln Center.
Among the guests who are set to attend the celebration include Domingo, Christine Ebersole, Anna Netrebko, Diana Damrau, Isabel Leonard, Ailyn Pérez, Juan Diego Flórez, Pretty Yende, Marc and Eva Stern, Chairman of the Los Angeles Opera, Eugene Kohn, and Mercedes Bass.
Cafe Fiorello, which Shelly Fireman opened in 1974, is the longest-standing restaurant across from the opera house.
Fireman, born and raised in the Bronx, opened his first restaurant in the 1960’s and went on to build a restaurant empire in the heart of New York City and beyond.
The event is for Dec, 8, 2018 with a red carpet and ceremont scheduled.
