Angela Gheorghiu, Sonya Yoncheva, Christine Goerke, Ramón Vargas Headline Week 28 of Metropolitan Opera Nightly Streams

The Metropolitan Opera has announced week 28 of its Nightly Streams, which will center on Puccini.

Here is a full rundown of the schedule which features some of opera’s greatest stars making multiple appearances throughout the week.

All Nightly Met Opera Streams begin at 7:30 p.m. and remain available via metopera.org for 23 hours. The performances are also accessible on all Met Opera on Demand apps.

Monday, September 21 – Puccini’s La Rondine

Starring Angela Gheorghiu, Lisette Oropesa, Roberto Alagna, Marius Brenciu, and Samuel Ramey; conducted by Marco Armiliato. From January 10, 2009.

Tuesday, September 22 – Puccini’s La Fanciulla del West

Starring Deborah Voigt, Marcello Giordani, and Lucio Gallo; conducted by Nicola Luisotti. From January 8, 2011.

Wednesday, September 23 – Puccini’s Manon Lescaut

Starring Kristine Opolais, Roberto Alagna, Massimo Cavalletti, and Brindley Sherratt; conducted by Fabio Luisi. From March 5, 2016.

Thursday, September 24 – Puccini’s Madama Butterfly
