Zenith Opera Competition Announces 2024 Winners

Zenith Opera Competition has announced the winners of its 2024 edition.

Taking home the first prize is Lila Duffy of France. Dufy has performed with such organizations as the Bach Festival in Montreal, Théâtre de Champs-Elyseees, Opéra Comique, and the Orchestre du Capitole de Toulouse.

Second place went to Maya Yahav Gour of Israel and Portugal. Taking home the third prize was U.S. singer Emma McNairy. Gour is an ensemble member at the Oper Köln in 2023-24 and will sing at the Dutch National Opera this fall. She is also slated to debut at the Teatro Massimo di Palermo. Finally, McNairy is currently an ensemble member at the Staatstheater Meiningen, and has appeared with such companies as the Staatstheater Kassel, Theater Lübeck, the Bucharest National Opera, the Mostly Mozart Festival, West Edge Opera, Oper Kiel, and Stadttheater Gießen, among others.

This year’s jury included David Lomeli, Alex Fernandez, Borris Ignatov, Cornelia Preissinger, and Brian Speck.
