It’s the final week of 2020, which means that this will be the final edition of CD / DVD releases for the year. And as expected, with the holiday season now a memory, there aren’t as many releases to go around. But at least one artist is going out strong with the release of his first visual album. Here is a look.

Call Out 

Zachary James has debuted his first visual album “Call Out” featuring works composed by women. The new album features James alongside pianist Charity Wicks, cellist Jeffrey Zeigler, theorboist Brandon Acker, steel guitarist Kevin Skrla, guitarist Frederick Poholek, and vocalist Megan Nielson.

The new album is comprised of music videos conceived by the singer as visual vehicles for the music and works by Kamala Sankaram, Bonnie Montgomery, Rachel J. Peters,  Rene Orth, Juliana Hall, Paola Prestini, Royce Vavrek, Persis Vehar, George Klawitter, Kristin Hevner, Apsara Kasiraman, and baroque composer Barbara Strozzi. The new album is available to stream on all platforms.
