The Saratoga Opera and UPH / Proctors Collaborative will host a free New Years Eve concert on Dec. 31, 2021 at Universal Preservation Hall.

The showcase will be headlined by bass-baritone singer Zachary James and pianist Laurie Rogers.

“This institution is delighted to offer a free concert to our community with the stature of these artists and because the richness of the arts is greatly deepened through collaboration and it is very encouraging that organizations of all sizes are finding more and more ways to bring and bring art to communities,”  said Lawrence Edelson, General Artistic Director of the Saratoga Opera, in an official press statement.

The event will also feature the announcement of the company’s 2022 summer festival.

Throughout its history Opera Saratoga has performed 106 different works, including 42 works by American composers and 14 premiere productions.
