Zachary James’ new visual album CALL OUT has received accolades from over 10 international film festivals.

The new album has received the award for “Best Soundtrack” at the Halicarnassus Film Festival and “Best Musical” at the Istanbul Film Awards. Additionally, it has been screened at the Chicago Indie Film Awards, Košice International Film Festival, International Folklore Film Festival, and L’Age d’Or International Arthouse Film Festival. It was also named a finalist at the IndieFest Film Awards and was selected into the Track Music Awards and Music Video Awards.

The new album was released in the tradition of visual albums like The Beatles’ “Yellow Submarine,” Prince’s “Purple Rain,” Pink Floyd’s “The Wall” and Beyonce’s “Black Is King.”

James’ album is comprised of music videos conceived by the singer as visual vehicles for the music.

In a statement, James said, “This medium pushes classical vocal music more into the pop world, inviting the audience to experience the genre in a new way.”
