Yukie Sato to Perform in the Australian Brandenburg Orchestra’s 2024 Season

The Australian Brandenburg Orchestra announced its 2024 season featuring soprano Yukie Sato. 

All performances are held at both Sydney’s City Recital Hall and the Melbourne Recital Centre. This article features works related to the voice.

Co-founder, Artistic Director, and conductor Paul Dyer curated the concert series, “Notre-Dame” written and directed by Alana Valentine. The work commemorates the eight centuries of music performed within Notre-Dame de Paris with performances by the Brandenburg choir and orchestra.

Performance Dates: February 22 – March 2, 2024

Japanese soprano Yukie Sato serves as soloist in “Handle’s House.” She is joined by Dyer on the harpsichord and the Brandenburg orchestra. The program includes Handles’s “L’amor ed il destin” from “Partenope,” “Tornami a vagheggiar” from “Alcina,” and Bononcini’s “Frondi tenere” and “Ombra mai fu” from “Xerse.”

The Brandenburg Choir lead the annual holiday celebration, “Noël! Noël!” Dyer conducts.
