YoungArts Announces 2023 Winners

YoungArts has announced the 2023 winners.

The winners are selected from a pool of young artists ages 15-18 or grades 10-12.

Among the classical vocal artists to be awarded are mezzo-soprano Gretha Fergus of Strath Haven High School in Wallingford, PA; soprano Saige Hoffman of New World School of the Arts in Miami; mezzo-soprano Kate Li from Walnut Hill School for the Arts from Natick, MA; soprano Dalila Lugo of the New World School of the Arts in Miami; soprano Fiorela Miria of Laguardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts in New York; baritone Luke Randazzo of The School for Creative and Performing Arts in Cincinnati; tenor Michael Sabatino of Syosset High School in New York; and soprano Ella Vaugh of Walnut Hills High School in Cincinnati.

Honorable mentions included soprano Erin Chung, soprano Victoria Curet, mezzo-soprano Grace Finke, soprano Eloise Fox, mezzo-soprano Lucie Freeman, soprano Olivia Gonzales, baritone Ryan Liddy, baritone Maddux Radosevic, baritone Varun Ramamurthi, bass Maximus Taylor, soprano Vivien Vigliante, and soprano Lia Zheng.

There were also winners announced in such categories as Writing, Classical Music, Theater, Film, Dance, Design Arts, Jazz, Photography
