Young People’s Chorus of New York City Announces ‘A Very Merry New York’ at Lincoln Center

The Young People’s Chorus of New York City is set to present “A Very Merry New York” at David Geffen Hall on Dec. 10, 2023.

The showcase will feature 600 young voices from around New York City under Artistic Director/ Founder Francisco J. Núñez and conductors Ahra Cho, Caitlin Henning, Maria Peña and Emma Sway. “A Very Merry New York”  also includes choreography by Jacquelyn Bird.

Audiences will hear such songs as “Hannukah Tonight,” “Sing for Peace,” “Parade of the Wooden Soldiers,” and “Let There Be Peace on Earth.”

“We are thrilled to bring everyone together to experience the magic of the holidays,” said Núñez in an official press statement. “Our award-winning choristers are sure to lift spirits and bring joy as we perform cherished holiday favorites and special new arrangements in genres ranging from classical to pop and jazz.”
