Yannick Nézet-Séguin & Marin Alsop Leads Saratoga Performing Arts Center’s 2020 Season

The Saratoga Performing Arts Center has announced its 2020 Classical Season.

While there will be a number of chamber concerts and movie screenings, for the purposes of this article we will only announce the vocal performances.

Yannick Nézet-Séguin will conduct the Philadelphia Orchestra, Albany Pro Musica and the Pro Musica International Festival Chorus in Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9. The concert will also include the composer’s first symphony and Frank’s “Pachamama Meets an Ode” in its NY Premiere.

Performance Date: August 15, 2020

Marin Alsop will lead the Morgan State University Choir and the Philadelphia Orchestra in highlights from “Porgy and Bess.”

The concert will also include Frank’s “Escaramuza” and Montgomery’s “Coincident Dances.”
