Yannick Nézet-Séguin has been named an ambassador for Rolex.

The company said, “We are delighted to welcome Yannick Nézet-Séguin into the Rolex family. You may know this multiple Grammy winner for his stunning opera renditions and his fresh twist to timeless classics. Nézet-Séguin leads the Met Opera, the Philadelphia Orchestra and the Orchestre Metropolitain while running a mentorship program for young conductors in Montreal. For nearly 100 years, the Rolex family has embodied achievement and innovation, and is now growing even stronger with Yannick. As part of the Rolex Arts Initiative, he will help us continue to perpetuate global culture.”

The conductor is the latest classical music ambassador for the brand. Other ambassadors include Gustavo Dudamel, Sonya Yoncheva, Juan Diego Flórez, Dame Kiri Te Kanawa, Ceclia Bartoli, and Jonas Kaufmann.
