Yannick Nézet-Séguin & Elīna Garanča Lead Vienna’s Summer Nights Concert

The Wiener Philharmoniker has announced that this year’s Summer Nights Concert will be conducted by Yannick Nézet-Séguin.

The concert, which is set to be held on June 8, 2023, will feature soloist Elīna Garanča, who will sing three arias from Georges Bizet’s “Carmen,” Charles Gounod’s “Sapho,” and Camille Saint-Saëns’ “Samson et Dalila.” The concert is set to be held at the  Schönbrunn Palace, Schlosspark, Vienna, Austria.

The concert will be broadcast on ORF in a time-delayed beginning at 9.20 p.m. On 3sat it will be broadcast in a time-delayed beginning at 9.45 PM.

Garanča recently made her role debut as Amneris in “Aida” at the Wiener Staatsoper and is set to perform the role at the Royal Opera House.
